These wonderful 7-cm Farandole Dancers come to us from the workshops of Renée Gateau in Marseille. They will make a perfect addition to your
Provençal Nativity Scene. All the young folk in the village dance the Farandole at all important village events. They dance to the music of the drum and a three-holed flute known as a 'galoubet.' Two different versions of this grouping are available -- in this version, the two women are wearing a green and a yellow dress.

Ces beaux Farandoleurs 7-cm nous proviennent des ateliers de Renée Gateau à Marseille. Ils trouveraient sûrement une bonne place dans votre crèche. Tous les jeunes gens du village font la Farandole à l'occasion de tous les évènements importants du village. Ils dansent sur la musique du tambourin et d'une petite flûte à trois trous que l'on nomme un galoubet. Il y a 2 modèles -- dans celui-ci les femmes sont habillées en robe verte et robe jaune.
